The Kingfisher Centre Redditch - Thornfield Properties Plc.
Development Manager - leading a large team of 20 consultants charged with overseeing the refurbishment and extension of the centre. The project involved the construction of an additional 500,000 sqft of retail space taking the scheme to over 1.1 million sqft in size.
The redevelopment works comprised of 4 separate phases including lettings to Debenhams / TJ Hughes / JJB Sports / TK Maxx / Wilkinsons and a host of other High Street names.
Including negotiating lease surrenders from the likes of Tescos / the purchase of additional land from the Local Authority, the gaining of vacant possession of the Bus Station and the relocation of the Town's Market Traders.
Development Budget - £100 million.
Investment Value - in excess of £210 million.
The Point Shopping Centre Malta - Miller Developments in partnership with Midi plc.
Project Director - overseeing the pre-letting and the initial construction of The Point, Malta's first covered shopping centre and which is part of a much larger mixed use development with a total development budget of over £200 million.
The Point is a 3 level retail mall totaling 175,000 sqft and is scheduled to open in the autumn of 2009. The pre leasing of the scheme involved the letting of the anchor unit to Debenhams and the implementation of a Tenant Mix Strategy for the lettings to other International Retailers.
